The region is enriched with lush forests and a charming archipelago, making it the perfect spot to explore in snowshoes! What better way to experience the magic of the Swedish Lapland?
Your adventure begins in Mörön, close to the centre of Luleå. You and your group (a maximum of 7 participants) will be greeted by your experienced guide who will provide all of the necessary information regarding safety and equipment use. Once ready, you will set out in the wilderness and follow your guide on an unforgettable trip in the Nordic nature! It is also very likely that you will see some traces of animals along the way, and luck is on your side, you might spot some moose and reindeer in their natural habitat!
Halfway through the snowshoe hike, you will make a stop to sit down and relax. Your guide will show you how to light a fire and you'll be treated to a warm drink accompanied by delicious Swedish Fika. Relax by the fire and admire the beauty of the wilderness while your guide shares some fascinating stories about the Swedish Lapland as well as their outdoor life and their relationship with nature. Once you've recharged, it is time to follow the trail back to the base.
